All Konjo leaders, plus the cruise manager of the boat, are PADI or CMAS instructors. They do not offer courses onboard, except for Nitrox certifications, but guarantee attentive and professional supervision. This ensures that less experienced divers can dive with peace of mind and in complete safety. Local divemasters are all PADI or SSI certified and have logged around thousands of dives in Indonesia.

Diving in remote areas of the archipelago requires specialized supervision and adherence to strict safety protocols. Here’s how we ensure your safety:
While the crew manages all logistical aspects of diving, each diver is responsible for adhering to safe diving practices. This includes arriving with well-maintained, up-to-date equipment, listening to the pre-dive briefings, conducting thorough pre-dive checks, and following safe diving practices underwater. Note that no decompression dives are planned due to the frequency of our dives and the potential distance to the nearest decompression chamber. We operate as autonomous divers, committed to safety and responsibility.
We maintain a ratio of 1 guide for every 4 divers, ensuring the flexibility needed to form homogeneous groups. We recommend a minimum of 50 dives and Advanced (or any Level 2) certification to fully enjoy Indonesia’s best dive sites. Have hundreds of dives under your belt and want to avoid beginner groups? No worries we have enough divemasters onboard to optimize your diving experience.
