The naval architect and yacht designer Yann Martinie designed this vessel. With his company Pacific High, he hired and supervised a team of experienced Konjo carpenters to build it, and the ship was launched in 2020. Since then, Senja has been successfully operating around the archipelago. This gorgeous luxury yacht has become popular with wealthy expats and Indonesians alike, even while the planet was in the middle of a pandemic. By offering the ultimate in privacy, it reassured people who wanted to travel in maximum isolation. Post-pandemic, Senja continues to attract couples who wish to celebrate their love in luxury while surrounded by wilderness and ocean.
The Pacific High boat design concept
Senja is the third vessel designed and built by Yann. Inspired by the style of the vessel Zirbad (2011) that he built with his former mentor (who was the designer and builder of the vessels Lambo, Teman and Jakare), and the design of the vessel Nataraja (2015), Yann has continued to refine his nautical design identity through the creation of Senja. Since her completion, he has extended his vision by creating the vessels Dewata (2022) and Majik (2023). Blending a bohemian tropical lifestyle into boat design, Pacific High is spreading an elegant but relaxed vibe around the Indonesian archipelago.
All onboard spaces have been designed to give an airy feel. On the main deck, the bow offers a giant sofa – a perfect spot for a different point of view of the yacht while cruising. In the evening, fine dining is served by candlelight around the main deck table and its comfortable sofas. The upper deck features sun loungers with a panoramic view around the majestic scenery. As for activities while on board, Senja is equipped with dive and snorkel gear, Nitrox for scuba diving, sea kayaks, a paddle board, and yoga mats.
One master cabin
This is what really separates Senja from the others. A super spacious air-conditioned master cabin, equipped with all the luxury amenities. The large en-suite bathroom provides warm water, a freshwater shower, and a complete array of toiletries. A private shaded terrace and sundeck (with comfortable sofas for relaxing) allows lovers to breathe in the fresh sea air while opting to avoid overexposure to the intense sun. This private deck, with direct access to a dip in the sea, is the ultimate in luxury.
If the clients feel like having their family or private staff onboard, an additional cabin is available on the lower deck. It features twin beds that are convertible to a king-size bed, along with en-suite bathroom and AC.
